Meet Abderrahim Lamraoui

As one of the first growers in Morocco, we’ve been growing Driscoll’s blueberries since 2014. Currently, we farm 20 hectares of Driscoll’s Stella Blue in the North of Morocco; a blueberry variety with the right balance of sweet and sour. The Stella Blue also has a pleasant, crisp bite and just enough protective bloom.
To guarantee quality, we get a little helping hand from Mother Nature. Bees are critical for cross-pollinating the blueberry flowers, so we ensure plenty of bees are flying around by placing 4 bee hotels per hectare of blueberries. And it really works!
At the moment, we’re also growing Driscoll’s Elvira blackberries and Driscoll’s Carmina raspberries.
I really love working with Driscoll's. Aiming for the best tasting berries ith our common goal.
